As someone who has grown up in Kerala, India, I am very familiar with the Malayalam calendar. The Malayalam calendar is based on the solar calendar and is widely used in Kerala and some parts of Tamil Nadu, Karnataka, and Maharashtra. Each year, there are several important dates and festivals that are celebrated according to the Malayalam calendar.
